Studio Lola is an ethical Nairobi-based atelier redefining slow luxury through compassion, craftsmanship, and creative expression. Founded in 2021 by Sarah Saleheen through the CSR program of Boho Eatery, we began as a social enterprise training and empowering single mothers and HIV+ women from marginalized communities.
Today, we’ve grown into a diverse, inclusive team crafting limited-edition pieces—crocheted, embroidered, beaded, botanically dyed, and lovingly handmade from natural fibers.
Our name, a playful nod to Dolores, honours the journey from hardship to liberation—infusing every piece with confidence, joy, and a sense of becoming.
